How fortunate we were to have a fine, crisp day for our October walk, enabling us to enjoy the rich autumnal colours, the deer grazing on the mountain slopes and the stunning views of our countryside and coastline. Stage 2 of our Margam exploration will see us meet again at the Abbot’s Kitchen at Margam Abbey at 2pm on Friday 28th November to wend our way over the mountain track in the direction of Llangynwyd, a walk of approximately 5 miles. Transport will be provided for our return to the Abbot’s Kitchen.

Please phone me beforehand in case the weather forces us to change our plans and please remember to wear suitable clothing and footwear. We walk at our own risk. If any member has a favourite walk please let us know. Please note that our December walk (and swim!) will be over the relatively short path to Sker Beach, leaving the Kenfig Nature Reserve Car Park at 10.45am on Friday 19th December with plans to be back at the Prince of Wales Inn, Kenfig by 12noon for Christmas refreshments.
