Our field trip this month will be on Monday 10th November to Chase End Hill, South
Malverns where David Owen will lead us on an all-day walk to explore the geology
of that area. We’ll meet at 10.30am at the lay-by on the minor road running north
of Broomsberrow, 1 mile north of this village on the road to Whiteleaved Oak, just
below Chase End Hill. (Grid Reference O.S. Sheet no 150 SO 756 348). Please bring
a packed lunch. Members are reminded that they attend field trips at their own risk
and that they should take all necessary precautions e.g. stout walking boots, warm
waterproof clothing, hard hats when required, goggles and a walking stick or poles.
The group must stay together and anyone wishing to leave early must inform the field
co-ordinator i.e. Nigel, Randall or Jonathan.
