FRENCH Meriel Hewson

The group meets fortnightly and aims to develop the every day use of the language. 

We are studying the four skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing. We use the BBC course book French Experience 1 which includes authentic recordings. We are also reading and translating Marcel Pagnol’s novel Jean de Florette. Whatever your level of skill in French might be, you can be assured of a very warm welcome.

The arrangements for our meetings in November are as follows: 10am on Tuesday 4th November at the Atlantic Hotel; 10am on Tuesday 11th November at The Rest; 10am on Tuesday 18th November at the Atlantic and Tuesday 25th November at The Rest.
