We are continuing to meet at Pyle Life Centre and we’ll meet at 10am and 2pm on the following Mondays in November: 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th.

 

We’ll be delighted to welcome members with intermediate experience in the mornings and beginners in the afternoons.

 

Things we have discovered.

1. Internet connection failure because if you have call minder (1571) and a call waiting, the computer does not get a dialling tone and fails to connect (error 6800). Answer, always clear your waiting calls before going on the net.

2. One of the members discovered the 'Insert, Comment' facility in MS WORD. This provides a speech bubble at the appropriate point in the document. looks like a handy little gadget for some situations, try it.

3. In Word go, 'format', 'borders and shading', 'shading' tab and you can colour the background of any amount of highlighted text. This is different from background colouring.
